The King's club is a fast moving mix of stories, group craftwork, singing, quizzes, memory verses, prayer times, big screen video and of course, games. We meet every Tuesday night from 6.30 to 7.30pm in the church hall.
It's true to say that it's sometimes hard to work out just who is the craziest - the kids or the leaders!
God - he may be the God of the ages, but he's also the God of 2005, and there's nothing he enjoys more than to see and hear us - and especially kids - praising Him from the deepest part of ourselves.
If you looked in, you might believe that it's a nut house. We enjoy bringing the Bible's stories and the Gospel right into today's language, and whether we dress in 10 layers of old clothes to make the story relevant, we believe that God is doing a serious work in the hearts of the kids who come so faithfully every week.
None of us can tell what sort of impact we have on other people - and when we open our lives a little to children - and adults - and let them inside, we can never know how these investments will return - and until the day when we all meet again in heaven and look around, and see who's there beside us, we'll never really know.
Don't leave it to someone else.
